Romeo and Juliet was based on a true story about two lovers in Verona in 1303 that had the same outcome as the story of romeo and Juliet. They loved each other but their families didn’t so they fought. But there were to lovers from the family that loved each other but ended up dying for each other. The play Romeo and Juliet was made by William Shakespeare which is one of his most popular plays. The play is essentially a tragedy/Romance story. This poem was based on Brookes poem of sadness.
