Romeo asked the nurse to tell juliet to up at the church to get married. He also asked for a ladder to go up on stage. Then he will confess.

Juliet was very anxious and this means she eas so excited to hear the news about romeo that she wants the nurse to be back as soon as possible “the clock struck nine when i did send the nurse”

Juliet wished the nurse was younger because she wanted to hear the news from the nurse because she lives romeo so much she must hear about everything he says.

The nurse breastfed juliet as a baby rather than the mother.
She cares for juliet and is a wet nurse.
She is supportive of juliet but protective from montagues.

She seems to be very protective when it comes to romeo but eventually she was convinced to allow them to love each other because juliet is in love with romeo.

Friar lawrence seems like a caring layed back character who is also busy. He is always trying to see throigh gods eyes ans give roemo good advice. He understands everything Romeo says and listens to him intently. He also folliws gods rules like not having sex bedore marriage.

The film version is different to e book balcony scene because they added in the pool that wasnt really there in the book and the balcony was only used for about 20 seconds but most of the things happened in the pool.

The characters are presented on same level but when romeo was climbing to the balcony the nurse appeared instead of Juliet. And Juliet ended up appearing next to romeo and then the scene playes out with the nurse on the balcony.

Juliet is higher because she was treated like a god which meant that she was higher to symbolised that she was like a goddess.
They needed to be separated because they are enimies being capulet and montague.

The act starts with 2 servants that have some banter then they have a fight. Then romeo talka about rosaline to benvolio. Then they talk about a party to find a new girl. Then Romeo meets juliet and they love each other.
