Act 2 Scene 4 Summary

This scene begins with an Old Man and Ross were talking about how Duncan had died. Then Macduff walks in and asked how their day was and then asked if they found out who killed Duncan but he is growing more anxious to find out who committed this high treason.

I think this scene is very short to give us more info in a shot time space and many supernatural stuff have been happening ever since the witches showed up because Macbeth was a normal person in the beginning the the witches show up and suddenly he becomes thane of 2 places and will  be promoted to king(witch prophecy)

  1. Hello Marcel,

Where is your quotation? Why do you feel that the supernatural aspect of the play has been made prominent here? How might this prepare us for how events unfold next?
